With the recent Canada Post strike now over, they’re working hard to clear their significant backlog of deliveries. While we’re thrilled to see them back in action, we also know that getting back to normal operations will take time. To make sure your packages arrive quickly, reliably, and without added stress, we’ll be continuing to ship with trusted carriers like UPS, FedEx, and Purolator for the remainder of the holiday season and into 2025.

Why the Change?

Canada Post’s network will be handling a massive influx of packages now that operations have resumed. That, combined with the already high holiday shipping volume, means delays are still likely across their network for the next little while. We’re committed to keeping your experience with T. Weatherhead & Co. as smooth and seamless as possible. By using alternative carriers, we can ensure your handcrafted items arrive on time and in perfect condition—just as they should.

What About International Orders?

For our wonderful customers outside of North America, we’re still working diligently to find the most affordable and reliable shipping solutions. We understand that international shipping can be costly, and we're determined to provide you with options that balance value and reliability.

In the meantime, if nothing else, we anticipate returning to Canada Post for international orders once their backlog has cleared. Canada Post has long been a go-to option for more cost-effective shipping to destinations around the globe, and we hope to utilize their services again as soon as operations normalize.
