Our Birdseye Maple Ring Box is made from solid figured Maple, selected for the small swirling markings that give Birdseye Maple its distinctive appearance. The naturally light colour of the wood allows the figure to take centre stage, creating a refined setting with quiet depth, subtle shimmer, and individual character.
Each box is shaped, assembled, and finished by hand in our workshop in Fall River, Nova Scotia. A hand-rubbed satin finish enhances the grain and figure without the use of dyes or stains, preserving the natural beauty of the wood. Because every piece of Birdseye Maple is different, each finished box has its own combination of grain, colour, and figure.
